HOW DOES
HEIST WORK?
The technology relies on the detection of a pressure increase in a closed volume of the heat exchanger. There is no comparable self-testing system presently available on the market making the HEIST System a one of a kind heat exchanger testing technology. The HEIST System is capable of detecting leaks to an accuracy of 30μm in plate heat exchagers. The test is rapid, with results generated between 1-15mins (PHE size dependant).
A failed test result suggests closer inspection of the plate pack to identify leaks. So with the HEIST System, detection of cracked plates is very simple, validating the benefit of having this technology integrated in your process system.
